You could try "Alberto Santos Dummont". He's is a Brazilian, and his natural language is portuguese. He is considered by Brazilians the inventor of the first airplane. You will find plenty of information on internet, since no American accept the theory, or fact, that Santos dummont would have flew before the American brothers. He also flew a lot of baloons and contributed to the invention of the clock watch..... very intersting.
