Is my german shorthaired pointer too skinny?

My GPS is 8 weeks old and weighs 6 pounds. She is always really hungry.(i know puppies mooch for more) and empties her food bowl in seconds. I am feeding according to puppy food manufacturers instuctions. Her ribs and backbone are visible.
