Did my engine get screwed up bad?

Hi.My car has a carburetor 2barrel.My brother put a screw between the throttle blade and the bore because the throttle blade wouldn't open up at all.The screw fell into the engine and the car started running bad and vibrating.He got mad at me and left when I started yelling at him.My question is can the screw be taken out and it will run better?Do I have to take it to the shop?Is this an expensive fix?It is a ford 351 cubic inch engine in a ford torino.
