Does the Lg banter do the same stuff as the LG Rumor?

I currently have the LG Rumor and to be frank i hate it, its always shutting off whenever it pleases (during the middle of msgs and calls) not only that but while using the QWERTY it will start lagging up and then skip letters that you pushed, you then press backspace and it deletes your entire msg. I would like to get the Banter and i was wondering if it had the same problems as the Rumor.
