Where is the fuel filter on a 1981 Cheverolet Van with a 350cu in engine?

probably in the carb on that model, pull the fuel line out of the carb and where you took the line out there will be a big nut, take the nut loose and the filter and a spring is behind it, put the spring in first then the filter and get a new gasket for the big nut and your all set.
